VINCENT 1330cc EGLI GODET 1968 Black color Odometer reading : 5100km HRD engine (Howard Raymond Davies) 88 HP at 5300 RPM V-twin, NIKASIL treated cylinders 5 speed gearbox with dry clutch Wossner forged pistons JPX connecting rods Electronic ignition Delivered with its French collector's registration card. Aviator during the first world war, he is made prisoner in 1917 and takes advantage of his confinement to think the perfect motorcycle. In 1924, the 1st motorcycle with futuristic lines equipped with an English engine JAP is born. He wins the Touring Trophy in 1925. In 1928 Philip Vincent repurchases the mark and the tool of production HRD which takes the name of Vincent, the production stops in 1955. After the resumption of the engines by the Swiss firm Fritz EGLI, preparer and manufacturer of cycle part, a part of these motor bikes are imported in France by the establishments Godet which bring a preparation and a perfect development.
