FRAME Spain, early 16th century (34 x 21 x 7.5 cm) Surprising tabernacle frame in finely carved wood with gilding and polychrome decoration. The upper part features a turbaned male bust, head turned to the right, flanked by two drooping draperies, while the sides simulate pilasters featuring two polychrome putti, one from behind, the other from the front, standing on an entablature bordered by drooping draperies.
