XVIth century Florence FRAME (44.5 x 32.5 x 13 cm) Spectacular upside-down frame decorated with ringed laurel twig friezes and water-leaf friezes, the corners adorned with large flowers and openwork sinuous falling stems from which emerge on the sides two facing snakes. Old polychromy and perceptible green and ochre gilding. 44.5 x 32.5 x 13 cm (minor wear, visible missing parts)
