Pierre LABADIE (1913 - 1973) - Lot 196
Pierre LABADIE (1913 - 1973) The entrance to the cinema Gouache and watercolor on paper signed lower right with BEAUDOIN et GRAVEREAUX lower right. Ca. 1933 - 1938. Some tears. 124 x 84.5 cm. Note: Pierre LABADIE (1913 - 1973) studied with Paul Bigot, Eugène Beaudouin and Raymond Gravereaux at the Ecole des Beaux Arts from July 10, 1933 to June 1938. This poster project was probably the subject of a competition during his school years. The leftover labels, originally concealing the names of students and teachers, were probably intended to preserve the anonymity of the candidates.
