HENRY DASSON (1825-1896) LADY'S DESKTOP in wood and veneer of violet, lemon, mahogany and satinwood, the top with diamond marquetry, opening with a drawer in the waist with a central recess, and another feint one. The tapered legs are underlined by bronzes forming thyrses and ribbon bows with flowers au naturel. Gilt bronze gallery and bronze trim with water-leaf decoration, laurel wreath pull handles. Firemark under the top "Henry Dasson et Cie 1890". Penciled signature on the gallery "Henry Dasson et Cie 1890". 70.5 x 68 x 46.5 cm
