FRAME Italy probably Venice, 16th century (31 x 25 x 15 cm) Exceptional cassetta frame in wood lined with finely embossed and chased silver leaves, four silver leaves make up the corners with plumes adorned with two eagles leaning against a flower supporting a stylized fleur-de-lys. The middle parts are also composed of four silver leaves with broad foliage and floral scrolls. The foliage and border are adorned with watered gadroons. 31 x 25 x 15 cm
