FRAME 17th century Italy (42 x 28 x 16 cm) Beautiful frame in finely carved gilded and polychrome wood, the curved profile decorated with large acanthus leaves in the corners and roses, the pediment topped by a winged cherub's head bordered by foliage scrolls and garlands of falling laurel twists. 42 x 28 x 16 cm (wear to gilding and polychromy, top of one garland missing)
