Prince Pierre d'Arenber /Portrait of Jean de Chalon-Arlay
The coat of arms does not correspond to the de Chalon-Arlay family (extinct in the 16th century), but to that of
Niklaus von Graffenried (1653-1731). The painting probably comes from Pierre d'Arenberg and his maternal
maternal ancestry, née Pauline de Brancas; her descendants subsequently applied the label linking it to
Jean de Chalon-Arlay.
